The general principle here is to give users the basics of how to update their websites and sustain a CMS web website on a day to day base. Matters like installing, plan of the navigation interface, code optimisation etc are all very lots more advanced and typically take days or weeks instead than minutes to perform properly.

Thanks for the great review of this book. I have been considering buying it for some time now and I think this review has helped me make my mind up.

I have a good understanding of xhtml/css and a little knowledge of php, but haven’t really used wordpress at all. I am very interested in learning how to incorporate wordpress into my clients sites to use as a content management system.

I hope this book will be suitable for me.
